Alex Bagley - Registered Physiotherapist - BSc, BHSc (PT)
Alex was born and raised on Vancouver Island. He graduated from the University of Victoria with a BSc in Biology and from McMaster University with a BHSc in Physiotherapy. He has worked at Town and Country Physiotherapy since 2000.
As a physiotherapist, he has participated in an Arthritis Society research project on community education and awareness. He was a sessional instructor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. He has provided physiotherapy services for the Times Colonist 10km Run, National Swim Competitions, and the Victoria Open Golf tournament.
He has successfully completed post graduate courses in Level 3 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, McKenzie Part A and Part B Mechanical Low Back Pain and Neck Pain, Mulligan Lower Quadrant, and advanced spinal and peripheral mobilizations/manipulations courses for the shoulder and cervical spine.
He was recently contracted as a designated service provider for the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) neurological rehabilitation, and is a member of the registry of Autism Service Providers.
Gina Montgomery - BSc, Msc (PT)
Gina grew up in Northern Vancouver Island. She graduated from the University of Victoria with a BSc in Biology in 2005 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Gina has completed a course in the Mobilization of Muscles, as well as level one in the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
Gina enjoys keeping active and has played just about every sport possible. She is certified in athletic first aid, and has an interest in running-related injuries. Her treatment approach is primarily through exercise prescription, manual therapy and client education.
Stephanie Lam BSc, MSc (PT)
Stephanie grew up in Toronto and graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BSc degree in Kinesiology in 2005. She worked as a physiotherapy aide and office manager in a couple of busy clinics throughout the program, eventually leaving Ontario for Edmonton to become a physiotherapist herself. She attended the University of Alberta to complete her Master of Physical Therapy degree.
New to Victoria, Stephanie now also works as a casual Victoria Island Health Authority (VIHA) employee for Victoria General and Royal Jubilee Hospitals. She is registered with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.
Along with acupuncture, she is interested in advancing her manual therapy skills and has successfully completed Level 2 Lower Quadrant of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Mulligan Lower Quadrant and other courses for the cervical and thoracic spine.
Tyler Evans BSc Kin, MSc PT
Tyler grew up in Vancouver and graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. He has worked as a kinesiologists in multiple physiotherapy clinics while completing his degree. After graduating he worked as a kinesiologist working with rehabilitation, and personal training clients. Continuing with his eduation, he graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. He has completed post graduate courses in Accupunture, Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Mulligans mobilization with movement, Spinal Stabilization, and Movement System impairments. He is interested in athletic training, and enjoys participating in all sports, especially rugby, basketball, and mixed martial arts. He looks forward to working with individuals and teams to improve functioning and performance.
